What A Wonderful World

This is a picture I made for a challenge going on over at Frosted Designs. Sundays with Sandee us a youtube video you really need to check out. She does beautiful Mixed Media work and had a video every Sunday. I loved making this one. She really brought it to us this Sunday and I had so much fun making this. Check out the Frosted Designs page on Facebook and also check out Sundays with Sandee on youtube.

I purchased a scrapbook at the retail store, I have never done a scrapbook page and don't have any interest in doing one, but I thought maybe it would be good for my Mixed Media projects. I think it worked out pretty good.

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day in our Wonderful World.

Marilyn Monroe Large Canvas

This is one I did last month (December) I am happy about the way it turned out. I thought and thought on it for the longest time. You know how you have a vision in mind but just not sure how to put  it on paper or such? Well, that was me. This seemed like it took forever. I  just Googled pictures of Marilyn Monroe and such and then printed them off. The one I printed on DP and then just painted her lips red. The flowers are ones I made and the bling are from my bling stash. Marilyn Monroe is such an icon. Gone to soon in life, sad. Now to find somewhere to hang it. LOL

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Frosted Designs Challenge for Januanry

Check out the Frosted Designs Challenge going on right now, you can make a card, or scrapbook layout or whatever you may choose to do. I chose to do a mixed media piece I used scaps from my scarp bin and then the quotes are rub ons. The fibers are  just yarn I got when my mother purchased the wrong kind and didn't like it. Score!  So go ahead and use up all those scraps you have laying around and join the challenge Have fun!

Faith

This is something I did with my word that I chose for Tracy Weinzapfel Facebook page Mixed Media Mondays with Tracy Weinzapfel. We were to choose a word for the year and live by it. The bird is one I fussy cut from a calendar, I used book text for the background and tehn painted over it with Different paints, Then put gesso, smeared it over different areas. I found the branch on a picture I saw on Pinterest and can not for the life of me remember who's it was. If I find out, I will post the link.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.
